In collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana this year, it expands opportunities for professional development in the sartorial craft. This initiative offers valuable prospects for career growth, creativity, and the infusion of unique perspectives and cultural influences. With the partnership of Dolce&Gabbana, renowned expertise and exposure are brought forth, fostering innovation and celebrating the rich heritage of the region. It plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the creative industries while promoting cultural preservation.

Recognising outstanding innovation and achievement by young Emiratis in the fields of sustainable design and architecture, the competitive 10k AED award seeks to nurture potential and creative talent by providing a launch pad for emerging designers and architects across the UAE. Submissions should address at least one of sustainability’s three main pillars: economic, environmental, and social with the winning work to be displayed as part of Abu Dhabi Festival.

The Award recognises creative excellence among youth in the performing arts. Submissions are open to individuals and groups who create an outstanding performance piece in the genre of music, dance, or theatre. Finalists will have the exciting opportunity to perform before a live audience and compete for a 20k AED cash prize.

Launched in 2013, the award supports the growth of the UAE visual arts scene by awarding emerging Emirati artists for outstanding work.

Presented in partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi, the award gives UAE undergraduates and recent graduates the chance to create a work of art that, in the spirit of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s work, can be publicly exhibited and enjoyed.
