Hamdan bin Shfayan Alameri is the winner of the 2022 Gulf Capital – ADMAF Creativity Award which has been recognising creative excellence among youth in the performing arts, music, dance, or theatre for nearly three decades since it was first established in 1996. His winning play in which he directed and starred in, ‘Room 2071’, portrays the pressure faced by scholarship students to live up to the dreams and aspirations often drawn for them by family and society.
