ADMAF Spiritual Series: Sheikh Mahmoud El Tohamy leads world premiere Ramadan concert
As part of ADMAF’s Spiritual Series and Ramadan evenings, and in celebration of the values of faith, hope, human brotherhood and compassion during the holy month, ADMAF presented the world premiere of the virtual performance Poetry and Longing. The exclusive digital concert was led by renowned chanting master Sheikh Mahmoud El Tohamy, performing a curated selection of his latest poems and musical compositions in a new artistic format rooted in Arabic poetry and spiritual chanting. He was joined by celebrated poet Gamal Bekheit and emerging poet Abdullah Hassan, whose verses created an intergenerational poetic dialogue centred on divine devotion and praise of the Prophet.

The exclusive digital performance was led by renowned chanting master Sheikh Mahmoud El Tohamy, featuring a curated selection of his latest poems and musical compositions, presented for the first time in a new artistic format rooted in Arabic poetry and spiritual chanting.
Joining the performance were celebrated poet Gamal Bekheit and emerging poet Abdullah Hassan, whose verses created a poetic dialogue across generations through expressions of divine devotion and praise of the Prophet.
The performance formed part of ADMAF’s Spiritual Series, which brings together artists and performances centred on spiritual music, chanting and devotional expression.
