Young Filmmakers’ Circle

A programme aimed at delivering professional training across all aspects of filmmaking, building the skills of emerging filmmakers while facilitating access to leading industry professionals. The programme provides participants with meaningful exposure to the national regional, and international film sector through networking, screening and speaking opportunities, and seeks to increase the number of UAE-made films that secure distribution deals and are selected for film festivals at all levels.

The Christo and Jeanne-Claude Award

Honouring the legacy of the renowned artist duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the award empowers emerging artists in the UAE to push the boundaries of their creativity and produce impactful, publicly accessible works of art. In collaboration with New York University Abu Dhabi, the award gives UAE undergraduates and recent graduates the chance to create a work of art that can be publicly exhibited and enjoyed.
