RIWAK AL ADAB WAL KITAB | International Mother Language Day 2025
For International Mother Language Day 2025, ADMAF’s Riwaq Al Adab Wal Kitab celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity, emphasizing the power of multilingualism. This annual initiative reflects ADMAF’s dedication to fostering creativity, preserving Emirati heritage, and strengthening the Arabic language as part of its long-standing commitment to the UAE’s cultural and creative industries.
Marking the 25th anniversary of International Mother Language Day, ADMAF joins the global celebration highlighting a quarter-century of efforts to preserve linguistic diversity and promote mother tongues. As part of the worldwide observance, UNESCO’s "Languages Matter: Silver Jubilee Celebration of International Mother Language Day" will underscore the urgency of accelerating progress on linguistic diversity for a more inclusive and sustainable world by 2030. In alignment with these global efforts, ADMAF, in collaboration with the Arabic Language Center Abu Dhabi and the National Library & Archives, will host a panel discussion featuring keynote speeches on the role of language preservation in safeguarding cultural heritage, improving education, and fostering inclusive, sustainable societies.
