ADMAF Founder H.E Huda Alkhamis Kanoo Receives Order of the Star of Italy with the Rank of Grand Officer for Cultural Achievements
H.E. Huda Al Khamis-Kanoo, Founder of the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), has been honoured with the prestigious Order of the Star of Italy with the rank of Grand Officer. This esteemed award, presented by His Excellency the Italian Ambassador, Mr. Lorenzo Fanara, on behalf of the President of the Italian Republic His Excellency Sergio Mattarella. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the United Arab Emirates. This recognition is a testament to her exceptional cultural achievements and her significant role in representing Italy on the global stage. The ceremony, which took place in Abu Dhabi on Friday, April 26th, celebrated H.E. Huda Al Khamis-Kanoo for her unwavering dedication to fostering cultural exchange and enriching the international cultural landscape.

H.E. Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo, Founder of Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation and Founder and Artistic Director of the Abu Dhabi Festival, has expressed her profound gratitude upon being awarded the Order of the Star of Italy with the rank of Grand Officer by His Excellency Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic. She stated, “I am deeply honoured by this recognition, which holds great significance in acknowledging efforts to foster creativity and a culture of humanitarian giving. I draw inspiration from the wise leadership of our nation, and this award symbolises Abu Dhabi’s global recognition as a centre for international arts and creativity, as well as a testament to Italy’s prominent civilisational role.”
Her Excellency further commented:
“This award underscores the close cultural ties between our friendly nations, the UAE and Italy. Over the past two decades, we have cultivated a strong partnership with Italian cultural institutions.
