As part of the ADMAF Spiritual Series, Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation, in partnership with the Moroccan Embassy in the UAE and Louvre Abu Dhabi, presents a special concert featuring the renowned Moroccan vocalist Noureddine Tahiri.
Rooted in Arabic–Andalusian, Sufi and traditional Moroccan musical practices, Tahiri’s work reflects a deep engagement with spiritual and poetic expression. Born in Fez, he studied Quranic recitation alongside the devotional traditions of madih and sama’ with leading masters in Morocco.
Accompanied by an ensemble of vocalists and traditional instrumentalists, Tahiri performs a rich repertoire of contemplative devotional works and expressive Andalusian melodies, characterised by intricate vocal lines, collective harmonies and a reflective atmosphere attuned to the spirit of Ramadan.
This evocative concert offers audiences an opportunity to experience an immersive musical journey that honours tradition, devotion and shared cultural memory.
